To give you an idea of my blogging history (in case you're curious and also to add some satisfying heft to this post): I've been writing online since 1997 but won't point you to the archives from the early days because a) the idea of anyone reading my self-absorbed pubescent rants makes me want to crawl under a rock and b) I never make a habit of backing up my entries so when large chunks disappeared from the face of the Internet due to technical glitches and such, there was no way to retrieve them. If you really need to, you can visit a Tumblr blog I posted on semi-regularly for about a year before I moved in here.
