...but then, I have met individuals who remain (unfortunately) narrow-minded no matter how well-traveled they are. It still depends on a certain degree of receptivity to experiences beyond what they are comfortable with, I guess. Reminds me of expats who have stayed for decades in another country, but have yet to learn the language or assimilate themselves into the local culture.
